Forest Inn Masonry Supply was established in 1978 by Richard and Barbara Getz. Richard and his cousin Luther Hittner had started a contracting business and saw the need to open a masonry yard that supplied block and cement in this area.

While Barbara ran the office and helped the customers in the yard, Richard did any deliveries that came about or helped his crew on jobs. As the business grew there was a need for more help. Lori Nemeth, who still works here today, started helping in the office in 1984. Soon after Ed Zanders started driving the boom truck for deliveries. He too still works here today. Richard and Barbara’s son Rick started working here in 1986 while he was still in school with intentions of one day taking over the business.

He and his dad invested in mobile metered concrete trucks in 1992 so Forest Inn Masonry could meet everyone’s needs. Rick has taken over the business for quite some time now. And he along with his wife, Yvette run the everyday operations of the business.
